Chief Operations Officer (COO) explained

The role of the Chief Operations Officer is to ensure the smooth overall strategic management of all financial control activity, and is responsible for confirming and approving all financial transactions, signing cheques, monitoring cash flow and carrying out financial planning. The Chief Operations Officer has direct relations with the Accounting and Back Office departments.

The key role of the Chief Operations Officer is to ensure the consistently high trading of a forex company, and when fulfilling this position, it is important to have a qualified individual in place with the relevant experience to ensure the professional management and maintenance of this role. It is helpful to have experience in currency trading and technical support issues, as well as an in-depth understanding of treasury and all associated activity, in order to effectively administer this position.

The Chief Operations Officer must maintain high standards at all times, and plays a crucial role in preserving the overall quality of any forex company.  The COO is also responsible for ensuring the minimization and where possible, avoidance of money laundering activity, by monitoring all individuals and businesses that request relations with a forex company.
