Currency Pair
A Currency Pair involves the quote currency and the base currency. In Foreign Exchange or Forex trading, a rate is displayed next to a currency pair, where a given quote currency is needed to buy one unit of the base currency, or sell the base currency and receive the quote currency. When trading Forex and reading Currency Pairs, always remember that it is the simultaneous buying and selling of one currency for another.
