CFTC
CFTC stands for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
The CFTC is an independent U.S. based federal agency which was initiated on behalf of the 1974 Commodity Futures Trading Commission Act . The role of the CFTC is to ensure and survey the efficient operations of the futures markets, through guarding investors from fraud, faulty trade practices and manipulation.
