World Trade Organization

The World Trade Organization (WTO) is an international organization which watches over financial trading that commences between nations. The World Trade Organization monitors financial trades which take place between countries who are signed up and agree to their agreements. The WTO has more than 150 countries as members, which consists of over 97% of financial trading that takes place over the world.

The WTO regulates trade between its member countries, and provides guidelines for negotiating and formalizing trade agreements. A conference takes place every 2 years, where issues revolving around the WTO’s policies are discussed. The World Trade Organization headquarters are sitauted in Geneva, Switzerland.
